The IV Martial Arts Spartakiad games «Invincible Power - 2014» was held October 30th - November 3rd 2014 in universal sport complex "Olymp" in Togliatti. About five thousand athletes took part in 32 kind of the competition program.

The team of martial arts club "Sakura" from Novotroitskoe village (Izobilnensky district, Stavropol Kray) successfully participated in these competitions too. Under the guidance of coach Alexei Komov 14 young athletes won 12 medals in their age and weight categories in shotokan karate – it is well-deserved results.

Two girls - Jana Abulova and Anastasia Kupriyanova achieved the highest results, they won the gold medals in team kumite. Jana also became the second in the individual competition in cebu-ippon kumite and the third – in cebu-sanbon kumite. Among boys Yaroslav Apanovich won two medals - silver in shobu-ippon kumite and team kumite. Also Alexander Saprinov, Ivan Koshilev and Gleb Zherebtsov became second in in the team Kumite. In addition, Maxim Neverov, Ivan Koshilev and Gleb Zherebtsov took silver in the individual sanbon-kumite. Daniil Kalaev, Kirill Dishkant, Savva Komov, Vasiliy Vahtin, Vladimir Koshilev, Denis Yarygin and Maxim Latunov stopped only one step away from the medals.

On October 1st at the Board meeting of the Russian Grain Union, the General Director of Russkaya Zemlya LLC (RZ Agro Group) Stephane Mac Farlane was awarded an Honorary diploma for the great contribution of the Company to the development of the grain market and in connection with the 20th anniversary of the Russian Grain Union.

From August 11th OAO Novotroitskoe (Stavropol region) is cleaning sugar beet and now we have more than 26% of sugar beet with a record yield of 56.3 t/ha, which is higher than the target by 20%. On August 27th started sunflower harvesting; yield is expected not lower than planned.
Corn harvesting started on August 26th in RZ Agro Rostov-South cluster.
Coriander cleaning with a yield of 1.9 mt/ha has been done in RZ Rostov-East cluster, flax cleaning is going to be finished yet .
Seeds preparation for planting on the area of 42.3 Kha has been done in all group farms.

All RZ Agro farms completed early crops harvesting on time. It was a record year – the harvest is unprecedented and a historically maximum winter wheat yield was reached!

In Rostov-East Cluster, ZAO Vishnevskoe and OAO PSH Markinskoe have completed their grain harvest with absolute record high volumes in all the history of both farms. With a final winter wheat yield of 4.4 mt/ha, OAO PSH Markinskoe became this season the absolute leader in the district, both on wheat and barley.

A heavy crop was gathered in at ZAO “krasnaya Zvezda” as well, despite the fact that the farm had to face some "surprises" of nature this year.

In Rostov-South Cluster, OAO Donskoe and OAO Konniy zavod imeni Pervoy Konnoy Armii completed harvesting of grain crops. Both farms also achieved record high volumes on winter wheat boosting the overall grain production of the Zernogradskiy district to an absolute record (RZ Agro farms takes 20% of sowing acreage of the district). An official telegram from the Rostov Governor (V. Golubev) was sent last week to the head of the district to congratulate for this historical event and in particular for the contribution of RZ Agro farms.

OAO SP Novotroitskoe (Stavropol – West cluster) cultivated a historically bumper crop and became one of leaders of the region.

Winter wheat yield on RZ Agro is as following: OAO PSH Markinskoe - 4.4 t/ha; ZAO krasnaya Zvezda – 3.6 t/ha, ZAO Vishnevskoe – 4.1 t/ha; OAO Konniy zavod imeni Pervoy Konnoy Armii – 4.6 t/ha; OAO Donskoe – 5.0 t/ha; OAO SP Novotroitskoe – 5.1 t/ha.

RZ Agro farms have finally collected their entire winter wheat crop with a bunker weight of 189 kmt over 42 kha (avg. yield of 4.5 mt/ha). This is also an absolute record for all RZ Agro Group! Level of feed quality is higher than average as a direct consequence of a ‘bumper crop’.

Excellent results also on spring barley - 3.0 mt/ha yield and camelina - 1.4 mt/ha.

Thus, the crop was harvested and placed into the farms’ storages. All services worked efficiently, as a team. This year record results were achieved primarily due to the hard work of farms’ employees and well-organized work of all departments.

Harvesting started with gathering early crops - peas and camelina in Rostov region; winter oilseed rape and barley in Stavropol region. The main crop winter wheat harvesting has started since the beginning of July. All services - grain quality labs, storage and transport units - are ready for acceptance of a new crop. Farms' experts predict a good crop and hope for favorable weather conditions during harvesting.

12-13-14 Jun we had an inspection from VNIIK (The All-Russia Scientifically Research Institute of horse breeding) at PKA.
According to the results of the annual horses appraisal VNIIK experts noted that our horses were in a perfect condition and many stallions and mares born in 2012-2013 got very good marks and were interesting for the breed. Average growth of yearling colts got even better then the last year.

The VIII "East-West" Martial Arts Olympics took place in St. Petersburg on May 7-12 2014 which was attended by more than 10 300 athletes from 34 countries. More than half of the Olympic participants have not turned 18 years old yet.
Active role in competitions was taken by "Sakura" martial arts club’s team from Solnechnodolsk, Izobilnenskiy area, Stavropol region, whose sponsor was Novotroitskoe OJSC.
Directed by their coach A.V. Komov, the team achieved excellent results, winning eight medals: 4 - gold; 2 - silver; 2 - bronze.
Here are the best results in individual competitions:
1. Vladimir Koshilev – 1st place, 3rd place in kumite (fight) 14-15 years old;
2. Gleb Zherebtsov – 1st place in kumite 12-13 years old;
3. Yaroslav Apanovich – 2nd place in kumite 10-11 years old;
4. Yana Abulova - 2nd place in kumite 12-13 years old;
5. Maksim Neverov – 3rd place in kumite 14-15 years old;
6. Team Kumite, Girls, 12-13 years old - 1st place (Yana Abulova, Anastasiya Kupriyanova).
After the competition the winners (14 + years) were invited to participate in the WKC version Karate European Championship in June 2014 in Cheboksary.

On May 9th, Pervaya Konnaya (part of RZ Agro Group) organized its traditional annual equine gathering in honor of the Great Victory Day.

During this event, three races were organized:

1st- RZ Agro Cup – horses 2 y.o.;
2nd- Great Victory Day Cup – horses 3 y.o,;
3rd - Equine Professional Cup – horses over 4 y.o.

Between races, special jumping competition shows were organized.
A crowd of over 1,500 people intended to the event this year.
We received very positive feedback from all our guests (from Rostov and other regions), especially from the elder people who were very thankful that we provided special tribunes for the occasion.
